Notes: Beaver is a recent transfer from a local shelter that was facing a space crunch. The Beav is a very nice boy who loves meeting people. Just today he met several people on his daily trail walks and was as happy as a clam to greet each and everyone of them. Beaver is just about 8–9 months old and has been chipped, neutered, and is up to date on his vetting. He is on the smaller side at about 28 lbs, and seems to do well with social dogs. We do recommend a meet a greet with other pooches in the household prior to adoption. He did a test positive for heartworms and has started his treatment.

- Dogs that have been spayed/neutered are available for adoption to any location including out of state residents.
- Pet adoptions are carried out on a first come, first served basis.
- If you are interested in adopting a pet, an Adoption Application Form must be filled out.
- A Goochland County Dog License must be purchased for any dog over 4 months of age.
- Dogs and cats must have a current Rabies vaccination.
