Notes: Malcolm #592889 is a happy, energetic boy who loves to play, show off his “sit” and “paw,” and will do just about anything for a tasty treat. He is food motivated but shows no signs of food aggression, just a gentle, eager attitude when it is snack time.
Malcolm came to us with his best friend Maci, and they share a special bond. He has done well meeting other dogs, too. He recently met an intact male Cane Corso and responded with friendly, playful energy the whole time. Because of his history, Malcolm cannot live with chickens, poultry, or small animals. His previous owner also mentioned that he needs a little practice around children, so a home with adults or older kids who understand dog body language would be ideal. Malcolm is a sweet, sensitive guy who can be a bit dramatic about restraint or vet procedures — not aggressive, just anxious and very vocal when he senses something like a needle coming his way. With a patient, understanding owner, he will continue to gain confidence. Intake Date: 10.19.2025 (Owner Surrender) Pending Heartworm Testing. Rabies Vaccination and Microchip on adoption. Adoption fee: $25REDUCED FEE

Do not forget to bring your pets inside when it is too cold outside. IF IT IS TOO COLD FOR YOU, IT IS TOO COLD FOR THEM! The law says: During cold weather, a dog shelter must have a windbreak at its entrance and have bedding material that is sufficient to protect the animal from cold and promote the retention of body heat.
