Notes: Paul is about 4 years old and was picked up as a stray. He has since been neutered and up to date on all of his vaccines. He is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, but that does not slow him down. To support our animals and adopters, there is the option to either medically foster Paul while we continue to treat him, or if you would like to fully adopt him we have vouchers we can give for his treatment. He has really come out of his shell since being here and is just a good ol’ Hound boy.

• Adoption of dogs is open to residents of Hanover, Henrico, Chesterfield, Powhatan, Cumberland, Fluvanna, Louisa and Goochland Counties, VA.
• Dogs that have been spayed/neutered are available for adoption to any location including out of state residents.
• Pet adoptions are carried out on a first come, first served basis.
• If you are interested in adopting a pet, an Adoption Application Form must be filled out.
• A Goochland County Dog License must be purchased for any dog over 4 months of age.
• Dogs and cats must have a current Rabies vaccination.
